It could also bring a $10,000 fine.<\/p>\n<h2>Business Owner Reports Unauthorized Charges<\/h2>\n<p>The investigation began on February 4, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>A business owner reported several unauthorized purchases on a company credit card.<\/p>\n<p>The owner said employees could use company cards for approved business costs.<\/p>\n<p>However, many workers had been laid off during the winter.<\/p>\n<p>The owner then noticed purchases dating back to December 20, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The charges appeared at businesses in Wadena, Henning, and Vining.<\/p>\n<p>Most purchases involved fuel, snacks, and other personal items, the complaint alleges.<\/p>\n<p>The questioned transactions continued through February 3, 2026.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center; margin: 25px 0;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Joshua-Dale-Larson.png\" alt=\"Joshua Dale Larson mugshot\" \/><em>Joshua Dale Larson<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Surveillance Video Reviewed<\/h2>\n<p>The business owner contacted a Vining gas station about one purchase.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators later reviewed surveillance video from the reported transaction.<\/p>\n<p>The video showed a Chevrolet Suburban parked near the gas pumps.<\/p>\n<p>A person then entered the store and purchased food, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>The business owner believed the person resembled Larson.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicle records showed the Suburban was registered to Larson\u2019s father.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint states that Larson lived at the same address.<\/p>\n<h2>Complaint Says Larson Admitted Purchases<\/h2>\n<p>Investigators spoke with Larson at his residence on April 2, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Larson confirmed that he previously worked for the business.<\/p>\n<p>He also confirmed that his employment ended before December 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Larson allegedly admitted to using the company card after leaving the job.<\/p>\n<p>He reportedly said he bought fuel, snacks, and other personal items.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators reviewed the questioned charges with Larson.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint alleges he admitted making purchases totaling about $1,500.<\/p>\n<p>Larson reportedly said he did not know where the physical card was located.<\/p>\n<p>The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s Seventh Judicial District.<\/p>\n<p>More court information is available through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mncourts.gov\/Access-Case-Records.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Judicial Branch<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The charge remains an allegation.
