St. Thomas Motorcycle Crash Injures Two<\/h2>\n

PEMBINA COUNTY<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Two St. Thomas residents suffered serious injuries Saturday in a motorcycle crash on Highway 66.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 12:50 p.m. on July 18, 2026. It occurred near mile marker 120, west of St. Thomas.<\/p>\n

Road conditions were dry, and the weather was clear at the time.<\/p>\n

Motorcycle Crossed the Centerline<\/h2>\n

A group of motorcycles was traveling west on Highway 66. A 2026 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on the same highway.<\/p>\n

A 2008 Harley-Davidson was riding near the rear of the motorcycle group. Another motorcycle ahead began slowing.<\/p>\n

The Harley-Davidson driver braked sharply and swerved. The motorcycle went out of control and crossed the centerline.<\/p>\n

It then struck the rear driver\u2019s-side tire and box area of the Chevrolet pickup.<\/p>\n

The motorcycle driver and passenger were thrown from the bike. Neither person was wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.<\/p>\n

Two Taken for Medical Care<\/h2>\n

The 36-year-old motorcycle driver suffered serious injuries. The 27-year-old female passenger also suffered serious injuries.<\/p>\n

Both injured riders are from St. Thomas. Their names were not released in the initial report.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews transported both riders to a hospital in Grafton. The driver was later transferred to Altru Health System<\/a> in Grand Forks.<\/p>\n

The Chevrolet driver was a 27-year-old woman from West Monroe, Louisiana. She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.<\/p>\n

Crash Remains Under Investigation<\/h2>\n

The North Dakota Highway Patrol<\/a> continues to investigate the crash. Possible charges involving the motorcycle driver remain under review.<\/p>\n

The Pembina County Sheriff\u2019s Office also responded. Cavalier County Ambulance assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n

The St. Thomas Quick Response Unit and Fire Department also provided emergency support.<\/p>\n

Officials have not released further details about the injured riders\u2019 conditions.<\/p>\n
