Highway 89 Pursuit<\/h2>\n
The incident began around 11:52 a.m. on June 17, 2026.<\/p>\n
According to the complaint, state troopers saw a Chevrolet Trax traveling north on Highway 89.<\/p>\n
Radar showed the vehicle traveling 73 mph in a posted 60 mph zone.<\/p>\n
Troopers activated emergency lights and turned around to follow the vehicle.<\/p>\n
The driver slowed but allegedly continued north without stopping.<\/p>\n
Troopers then activated a siren and used a spotlight to gain the driver\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n
The complaint says the vehicle later increased its speed to between 70 and 80 mph.<\/p>\n
A sheriff\u2019s deputy placed tire-deflation devices near Highway 89 and Lumberjack Road.<\/p>\n
The driver allegedly avoided the devices and continued toward Red Lake.<\/p>\n
