Breckenridge Raid Nets Meth and Nine Guns<\/h2>\n

BRECKENRIDGE, Minn. \u2014 (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 Law enforcement seized more than 600 grams of methamphetamine during a raid Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Authorities also found nine firearms inside a home in the 400 block of Sixth Street South.<\/p>\n

Five adults were inside the Breckenridge property when officers served the search warrant.<\/p>\n

Several Agencies Join Search<\/h2>\n

The Breckenridge Police Department<\/a> took part in the operation.<\/p>\n

The Wilkin County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a> also assisted with the search.<\/p>\n

Other agencies included the Wahpeton Police Department<\/a> and the End of the Woods Drug Task Force.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported finding more than 600 grams of suspected methamphetamine inside the home.<\/p>\n

Investigators estimated the drugs had a street value of about $10,000.<\/p>\n

Nine Firearms Recovered<\/h2>\n

Officers also seized seven long guns and two handguns during the search.<\/p>\n

Authorities did not release details about the types or ownership of the firearms.<\/p>\n

Dustin Bruns, 53, was arrested after the search.<\/p>\n

He is suspected of first-degree possession of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n

Bruns was being held while awaiting an arraignment hearing.<\/p>\n

The allegation remains unproven unless established in court.<\/p>\n

Four Other Adults Found at Home<\/h2>\n

Four other adults were also inside the property when officers arrived.<\/p>\n

Authorities have not released their names or current status.<\/p>\n

No additional charges were pending when law enforcement released its initial report.<\/p>\n

Officials have not said what led investigators to seek the search warrant.<\/p>\n

Further information could become available as the investigation and court process continue.<\/p>\n
