Bemidji Woman Charged After Meth Traffic Stop<\/h2>\n

BEMIDJI, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Mentor woman faces a felony drug charge after a June traffic stop in Bemidji.<\/p>\n

Rokelle Jean Cloud, 40, is charged with fifth-degree controlled substance possession.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Beltrami County District Court.<\/p>\n

The charge alleges Cloud possessed a mixture containing methamphetamine on June 12, 2026.<\/p>\n

Methamphetamine is listed as a Schedule II controlled substance in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

A conviction could bring up to five years in prison.<\/p>\n

It could also bring a $10,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Near Lake Avenue<\/h2>\n

Police stopped the Cadillac shortly before 11 p.m.<\/p>\n

Officers reported seeing movement inside before the vehicle stopped.<\/p>\n

Justin Michael Knapp was driving, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Cloud was seated in the front passenger seat.<\/p>\n

Officers reported signs that Knapp may have been impaired.<\/p>\n

He later underwent field sobriety tests.<\/p>\n

Police then arrested Knapp on suspicion of driving while impaired.<\/p>\n

Police reported finding several small plastic baggies there.<\/p>\n

A vehicle search followed.<\/p>\n

Officers reported finding needles, used methamphetamine pipes, and three digital scales.<\/p>\n

Police also reported a realistic BB gun inside the glove box.<\/p>\n

A cup held a substance that appeared to be sugar.<\/p>\n

Investigators described sugar as a possible drug-diluting agent.<\/p>\n

They also reported finding small bags containing suspected methamphetamine.<\/p>\n

The complaint does not provide a final laboratory weight for the substance.<\/p>\n
