The alleged offenses occurred on June 20, 2026.<\/p>\n<h2>Caller Reported Erratic Driving<\/h2>\n<p>A caller reported a black GMC pickup moving between about 30 mph and 90 mph.<\/p>\n<p>The caller said the pickup was weaving across the road.<\/p>\n<p>A deputy later found the vehicle on Highway 200, east of Ada.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the pickup was traveling 76 mph in a 60 mph zone.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy also reported seeing the pickup cross the center line and fog line.<\/p>\n<p>Grass was hanging from the vehicle\u2019s front and rear bumpers, according to the filing.<\/p>\n<p>Lussier allegedly could not provide a driver\u2019s license or proof of insurance.<\/p>\n<p>A bottle of whisky was visible on the vehicle floor, the complaint states.<\/p>\n<p>Lussier said the bottle was full and denied drinking from it.<\/p>\n<p>The deputy reported smelling alcohol and seeing signs of poor balance.<\/p>\n<p><!-- Replace MUGSHOT-IMAGE-URL-HERE with the actual mugshot image URL. --><\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: center; margin: 24px auto;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"display: block; max-width: 100%; height: auto; margin: 0 auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/LUSSIER-DOMINICK-JAMES.jpg\" alt=\"Dominick James Lussier mugshot\" \/><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\">Dominick James Lussier<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Field Tests and Urine Sample<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint says Lussier showed several impairment signs during three field sobriety tests.<\/p>\n<p>He allegedly swayed, stepped off the line, and used his arms for balance.<\/p>\n<p>A preliminary breath test showed 0.12 from a partial sample, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Lussier also admitted to using methamphetamine the previous day, the filing states.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says Lussier became upset during a second breath test attempt.<\/p>\n<p>He allegedly dropped to the ground and threatened to resist.<\/p>\n<p>Additional officers arrived, and Lussier was placed inside a squad vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>A judge later approved a warrant for blood or urine testing.<\/p>\n<p>Lussier provided a urine sample at 11:25 a.m., according to the filing.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint does not include laboratory results from that sample.<\/p>\n<h2>Six Charges Filed<\/h2>\n<p>The charges include second-degree DWI and driving after cancellation.<\/p>\n<p>Both charges are gross misdemeanors under Minnesota law.<\/p>\n<p>Each carries up to 364 days in jail and a $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n<p>Other charges include reckless driving, obstruction, speeding, and failing to provide proof of insurance.<\/p>\n<p>Readers can review Minnesota\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/169A.20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">driving while impaired law<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The state also publishes its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/169A.25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">second-degree DWI law<\/a> online.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/171.24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">driving after cancellation law<\/a> is available through the Minnesota Revisor.<\/p>\n<p>Public case information may appear through <a href=\"https:\/\/publicaccess.courts.state.mn.us\/CaseSearch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Court Records Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint cites two prior DWI convictions and two pending court cases.<\/p>\n<p>Those details were included in the Norman County court filing.<\/p>\n<p>Lussier is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m Adrian Cole, reporting for <a href=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRF News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 TRF News.
