It also wore a pink collar.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities could not find the owner. The dog was taken to the pound in Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone seeking information may visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redlakecountymn.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Red Lake County website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Vandalism and Arrest Reported<\/h2>\n<p>On June 29, authorities received a vandalism report at Lion\u2019s Park in Plummer.<\/p>\n<p>The case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Early on June 30, police reported a possible violation of an active harassment restraining order.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies arrested Preston Dean Altendorf, 25, of Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n<p>He was transferred to Pennington County authorities. The charge remains an allegation unless proven in court.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic Stops Lead to Citations<\/h2>\n<p>Later, on June 30, Sommar Patrice Kemnitz, 42, of Thief River Falls, received a speeding citation.<\/p>\n<p>The stop happened on County Road 2, north of County Road 1.<\/p>\n<p>That evening, an Oklee resident reported another possible restraining order violation.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities spoke with the reporting person. The matter remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>A separate traffic stop occurred on Main Avenue in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n<p>Applynn J\u2019E Johnson, 21, of Twin Valley, was cited for three alleged violations.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities reported illegally packaged marijuana, expired registration, and no proof of current insurance.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Calls Across Red Lake County<\/h2>\n<p>On July 1, someone reported losing a wallet at a local golf course.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone finding the wallet should contact the Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>That afternoon, deputies responded to a dispute at a gravel pit south of Oklee.<\/p>\n<p>The people involved spoke with authorities. One person was told camping was not allowed there.<\/p>\n<p>The dispute ended without further reported action.<\/p>\n<p>On July 2, local officers provided security during Senator Amy Klobuchar\u2019s campground visit.<\/p>\n<p>She toured Voyageur\u2019s View Campground. More information is available on her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.klobuchar.senate.gov\/public\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">official Senate website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Later, a camper detached from a towing vehicle along Highway 32.<\/p>\n<p>The camper entered a ditch north of Red Lake Falls. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>A tow truck removed the camper.<\/p>\n<h2>Underage Alcohol Citations Issued<\/h2>\n<p>That evening, authorities checked a possible impaired driver leaving Voyageur\u2019s View Campground.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies stopped the vehicle on Broadway Avenue in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n<p>Isaiah Matthew Fleetwood, 19, and Noah Roger Mahlum, 18, both of Grand Forks, received citations.<\/p>\n<p>Each was cited for misdemeanor minor consumption, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>They remained detained until a sober person arrived to drive them home.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m Chris Harper, reporting for <a href=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TRF News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 TRF News.
