Bowman Driver Dies After Highway 12 Crash<\/h2>\n

Bowman County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 67-year-old Bowman man died Friday after a single-vehicle crash west of Bowman.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 8:45 a.m. on July 3, 2026. It occurred on Highway 12 near mile marker 30.<\/p>\n

The man was driving a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 westbound. Authorities said he may have suffered a medical emergency.<\/p>\n

The pickup then crossed the roadway and entered the south ditch. It continued west through the ditch before striking a tree.<\/p>\n

After hitting the tree, the pickup moved onto a gravel frontage road. It later came to rest in a nearby ditch.<\/p>\n

Emergency crews took the driver to Bowman Hospital. Medical staff later pronounced him dead.<\/p>\n

The driver was wearing a seat belt, according to the release. His name was not released Friday.<\/p>\n

Dry Road and Normal Weather Reported<\/h2>\n

Road conditions were dry when the crash happened. Weather conditions were also described as normal.<\/p>\n

No other vehicles were involved. Authorities did not report any passengers inside the pickup.<\/p>\n

The crash happened west of Bowman in southwestern North Dakota. Highway 12 remained the focus of the investigation Friday.<\/p>\n
