Thief River Falls Crash Sends Two to Hospital<\/h2>\n

THIEF RIVER FALLS<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Police received a crash report at 2:35 p.m. on June 17.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at Duluth Avenue and Fifth Street in Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n

Emily Tinkham, of Thief River Falls, was driving a 2019 GMC Acadia north on Duluth Avenue.<\/p>\n

Arlene Newman, of Strathcona, was driving a 2008 Buick Lucerne east toward the same intersection.<\/p>\n

The vehicles collided as both drivers entered or traveled through the intersection, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Tinkham was traveling north, while Newman was traveling east, before the vehicles made contact.<\/p>\n

The report did not say which vehicle entered the intersection first.<\/p>\n

SUV Struck Light Pole<\/h2>\n

The impact pushed Tinkham\u2019s GMC off the roadway.<\/p>\n
