Thief River Falls Police Cases<\/h2>\n
Juan Jose Paredes, 45, received a $260 fine for possessing a shoplifting tool.<\/p>\n
A 364-day jail term was stayed for two years. He received credit for time served.<\/p>\n
Paredes will serve two years of court probation. He may not enter Walmart.<\/p>\n
The state has 30 days to file a restitution certificate. Paredes then has 30 days to object.<\/p>\n
A theft charge was dismissed.<\/p>\n
Jacob Ryan Lasin Brummitt, 23, was sentenced on two domestic assault counts.<\/p>\n
He received fines of $210 and $50. Each count carried a stayed 90-day jail sentence.<\/p>\n
The sentences will run concurrently. Brummitt received credit for four days already served.<\/p>\n
He will complete one year of supervised probation. He must also complete domestic abuse treatment.<\/p>\n
Brummitt must receive an assessment within 60 days. He must follow all treatment and aftercare recommendations.<\/p>\n
He may not possess firearms, ammunition, or explosives.<\/p>\n
Another domestic assault charge was dismissed. A no-contact-order violation was also dismissed.<\/p>\n
Isaac Perez, 29, received a $585 fine for fourth-degree driving while impaired.<\/p>\n
A 90-day jail sentence was stayed for one year. Perez received credit for time served.<\/p>\n
He must complete one year of probation, an assessment, and recommended treatment.<\/p>\n
Other DWI, insurance, and driving-after-revocation charges were dismissed.<\/p>\n
Justin Lee Shepard, 37, had a theft charge dismissed.<\/p>\n
Michael David Jorstad, 40, received fines totaling $415 for two vehicle registration offenses.<\/p>\n
Justin Alan Jourdain, 21, had an order-for-protection violation charge dismissed.<\/p>\n
Katrina Deieedre Carter, 36, received a $135 handheld-device fine.<\/p>\n
Pennington County Sheriff\u2019s Office Cases<\/h2>\n
Jose Orlando Gonzalez, 32, received a $285 fine for driving after suspension.<\/p>\n
Quade Maguire Axford, 29, received a $585 fine for fourth-degree DWI.<\/p>\n
His 90-day jail sentence was stayed for one year. He will serve one year of probation.<\/p>\n
Axford must complete an assessment and recommended treatment. A pistol-related alcohol charge was dismissed.<\/p>\n
More information is available from the Pennington County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n Robert Michael Madden, 43, received three fines totaling $625.<\/p>\n The cases involved speeding, driving after revocation and failing to provide insurance proof.<\/p>\n Brockston Nicholas Masseth, Keith Warren Solberg, Jay Patrick Opdahl and Jitae Kim received $110 seat belt fines.<\/p>\n Vincent Ralph Melina received a $185 fine for having no driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n Shivawn Lashay Williams received a $135 child passenger restraint fine.<\/p>\n Juan Jose Paredes received stays of adjudication on license and insurance charges.<\/p>\n He received $175 in fines and two years of unsupervised monitoring.<\/p>\n Paredes must provide proof of insurance and a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n David John Mindermann received a $115 fine for expired registration.<\/p>\n Dismissed charges are not convictions.
