DETROIT LAKES<\/strong> \u2014 (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a> \u2014 A Fargo man faces a felony theft charge in Becker County.<\/p>\n

Raul Mario Salinas is accused of taking part in two thefts at the Detroit Lakes Walmart.<\/p>\n

The alleged thefts happened on October 28 and December 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

Store staff estimated the combined loss at $6,108.59, according to the criminal complaint.<\/p>\n

Three carts allegedly pushed through the exit<\/h2>\n

The complaint says three people entered the store on December 13.<\/p>\n

The group included two men and one woman, according to investigators.<\/p>\n

Each person allegedly selected a plastic tote while moving through the store.<\/p>\n

The woman reportedly left the store and waited near a vehicle.<\/p>\n

The two men then placed merchandise into totes and gathered three shopping carts.<\/p>\n

They allegedly pushed the carts through a garden center fire exit without paying.<\/p>\n

The group loaded the merchandise into a vehicle and left, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Walmart’s loss prevention estimated that theft at $5,077.33.<\/p>\n

Investigators also linked the group to an October 28 theft at the same store.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the three people filled a cart with merchandise.<\/p>\n

They then allegedly pushed the cart through the garden center fire exit.<\/p>\n

Walmart estimated the earlier loss at $1,031.26.<\/p>\n

Fargo police and Walmart loss prevention staff helped identify the suspects.<\/p>\n

Investigators identified Salinas as one of the two male suspects.<\/p>\n

They also said the December vehicle resembled one owned by Salinas.<\/p>\n

Felony charge and warrant request<\/h2>\n

Salinas is charged under Minnesota\u2019s felony theft law.<\/p>\n

The charge covers property valued above $5,000.<\/p>\n

A conviction may carry up to 10 years in prison or a $20,000 fine.<\/p>\n
