Roseau Man Faces 911 Interference, Assault Charges<\/h2>\n

ROSEAU, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 Randall Lee Sehlstrom, 55, faces two charges after an alleged domestic incident.<\/p>\n

The reported incident happened on April 27, 2026, in Roseau County.<\/p>\n

A court complaint charges Sehlstrom with interfering with a 911 call. That count is a gross misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

He also faces one misdemeanor count of fifth-degree domestic assault.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District.<\/p>\n

What the complaint alleges<\/h2>\n

The complaint says the incident happened at a County Road 28 property.<\/p>\n

Sehlstrom lived in a smaller home on the property, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

A woman lived in the main house. She said Sehlstrom entered the home that morning.<\/p>\n

The woman said Sehlstrom told her she needed to leave.<\/p>\n

Sehlstrom allegedly pushed the woman while ordering her to leave.<\/p>\n

A witness said Sehlstrom then placed the woman in a headlock.<\/p>\n

The witness tried to step between them, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

She also alleged that Sehlstrom pushed her during the encounter.<\/p>\n

The witness then tried to call 911 for help.<\/p>\n

She had already dialed 911 when Sehlstrom allegedly took the phone.<\/p>\n

Reported injuries<\/h2>\n

A Roseau County deputy later met with the woman and the witness.<\/p>\n

The complaint identifies both women only by their initials.<\/p>\n

The deputy reported seeing red marks on both sides of the woman\u2019s neck.<\/p>\n

Small cuts were also photographed after the woman removed a bandage.<\/p>\n

The woman said the cuts came from glass on a table.<\/p>\n

She also told authorities that she and Sehlstrom were divorcing.<\/p>\n

Authorities are unable to make contact<\/h2>\n

Authorities went to the property shortly before noon.<\/p>\n

They were unable to contact Sehlstrom at that time.<\/p>\n

The complaint says authorities had not located him when the document was prepared.<\/p>\n

Possible penalties<\/h2>\n

The 911 interference charge carries up to 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n
