Jamestown Man Faces Four Felony Sex Charges<\/h2>\n

JAMESTOWN<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Jamestown man faces four felony charges involving a 15-year-old girl.<\/p>\n

William J. Carter, 40, was arrested after an investigation by the Stutsman County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

The complaint identifies Carter as a registered sex offender.<\/p>\n

The alleged conduct occurred between November and December 2025, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

Girl Reports Alleged Abuse<\/h2>\n

The investigation began after the girl spoke with a Stutsman County social worker on May 26.<\/p>\n

She reported sexual abuse on three separate occasions, according to a probable cause declaration.<\/p>\n

Two alleged incidents happened at a home within Jamestown city limits.<\/p>\n

A third alleged incident occurred near the Jamestown Reservoir.<\/p>\n

The girl also reported that Carter requested sexually explicit photographs from her.<\/p>\n

Court documents say she created the images and sent them through Snapchat.<\/p>\n

An investigator interviewed Carter on June 23, according to the declaration.<\/p>\n

Carter allegedly acknowledged sexual contact with the girl at the reported locations.<\/p>\n

He also confirmed the alleged incidents occurred during November and December 2025.<\/p>\n

Court records say Carter admitted receiving sexually explicit photographs on his phone.<\/p>\n

He reportedly told investigators that he later deleted those images.<\/p>\n

Four Felony Charges Filed<\/h2>\n

Prosecutors charged Carter with two felony counts of sexual assault.<\/p>\n
