Pettibone Rollover Kills 18-Year-Old Woman<\/h2>\n

PETTIBONE, N.D.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 An 18-year-old Jamestown woman died in a rollover crash Sunday evening west of Pettibone.<\/p>\n

The single-vehicle crash happened at 7:15 p.m. on June 21. It occurred near 21st Street Southeast and 44th Avenue Southeast.<\/p>\n

The site is about two miles west of Pettibone in Kidder County.<\/p>\n

Car Rolled After Turn<\/h2>\n

The woman was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu north on 44th Avenue Southeast.<\/p>\n

She then turned east onto 21st Street Southeast, according to the crash report.<\/p>\n

The driver lost control on the gravel road. The Malibu then rolled.<\/p>\n

The woman suffered fatal injuries. She died at the scene before transport to a hospital.<\/p>\n

Authorities said she was not wearing a seat belt. Her name has not been released.<\/p>\n

The report did not identify any passengers. It also did not list any other vehicles.<\/p>\n

Road and Weather Were Dry<\/h2>\n

The road surface was dry gravel when the crash happened. Weather conditions were also reported as dry.<\/p>\n
