Walker Woman Charged in Holiday Domestic Assault<\/h2>\n

Walker<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Walker woman faces a gross misdemeanor domestic assault charge in Cass County court.<\/p>\n

Danielle Shirley Isham is accused of hitting and scratching her brother during a holiday gathering on December 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

Complaint Describes Holiday Dispute<\/h2>\n

The criminal complaint says deputies responded around 6:52 p.m. to a home on Onigum Road.<\/p>\n

The alleged victim said an argument began over the condition of the home. He said Isham started hitting him during the dispute.<\/p>\n

He also reported scratches to his chest and back. He said the injuries occurred while he tried to keep Isham away.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, Isham left the home after the first confrontation. The alleged victim then called his father for help.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Isham later returned with several other people. It alleges another fight then began inside the home.<\/p>\n

The alleged victim identified Isham and Brandon White among the group. He said the group assaulted him and knocked over furniture.<\/p>\n

He told investigators that he eventually fought them off. The group then left the property, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Injuries Documented<\/h2>\n

Investigators reported seeing several scratches on the alleged victim\u2019s chest and back. Those injuries were photographed during the investigation.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Isham later spoke with investigators by phone. She confirmed being at the home during the dispute.<\/p>\n

Isham said the situation became heated. She claimed her brother started the fight, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Gross Misdemeanor Charge Filed<\/h2>\n

Prosecutors charged Isham under Minnesota\u2019s domestic assault law<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The charge is a gross misdemeanor because prosecutors cited a prior qualifying conviction. The complaint lists a 2017 fifth-degree assault conviction.<\/p>\n

A gross misdemeanor conviction may bring up to 364 days in jail. It may also carry a fine up to $3,000.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District. The court file number is 11-CR-26-627.<\/p>\n
