Williams Man Charged In Felony Domestic Case<\/h2>\n

Williams<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a> \u2014 A Williams man is facing felony charges after a domestic assault report in Lake of the Woods County.<\/p>\n

Thomas James Williams, 58, of Williams, is charged in Lake of the Woods County District Court.<\/p>\n

Williams is charged with felony threats of violence and felony domestic assault.<\/p>\n

Authorities later met RM at a residence in Williams.<\/p>\n

They reported seeing bruising on her arm.<\/p>\n

RM also showed a large cut on her foot.<\/p>\n

She claimed that the injury happened about one week earlier.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, RM said Williams threw a cup that cut her foot.<\/p>\n

Authorities later went to the home on Chilgren Avenue in Williams.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Williams appeared intoxicated.<\/p>\n

He allegedly told authorities the argument was only verbal.<\/p>\n

Williams also allegedly said he only pinched RM\u2019s arm.<\/p>\n

He denied that it was a serious assault, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Williams was arrested and taken to the Lake of the Woods County Jail.<\/p>\n

The felony threats charge cites Minnesota Statute 609.713<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The felony domestic assault charge cites Minnesota Statute 609.2242<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.<\/p>\n
