Wabasha County (trfnews.i234.me)<\/strong> \u2013 A crash involving a Jeep Grand Cherokee occurred on December 7, 2025, on US Highway 61 near Milepost 65, in Pepin Township, Wabasha County. The incident took place around 10:34 p.m.<\/p>\n

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound on US Hwy 61 when it left the roadway and came to a stop in a ditch. The vehicle was affected by snow and icy road conditions at the time of the crash.<\/p>\n

The driver, Lucas Arruda Olson, a 20-year-old male from Rochester, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Wabasha Hospital. Olson was wearing his seatbelt, and the Jeep\u2019s airbags deployed during the collision. Alcohol was not involved in the crash.<\/p>\n

Wabasha County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Wabasha Fire Department, and Wabasha Ambulance assisted at the scene.<\/p>\n
