Ogema Man Charged After Highway 21 Stop<\/h2>\n

Becker County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Mark Todd Quinn Sr. of Ogema is facing a gross misdemeanor charge in Becker County District Court.<\/p>\n

The case stems from a traffic stop on February 1, 2026, near Ogema.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint, Quinn was charged with driving after cancellation. The complaint says his driving status was canceled as inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n

The charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>. The case is listed as Becker County Court File No. 03-CR-26-295.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Near Ogema<\/h2>\n

The complaint says the stop happened at about 12:21 p.m. on County Highway 21.<\/p>\n

A Becker County deputy reported seeing a vehicle traveling northbound near Ogema. The deputy identified the driver as Mark Todd Quinn Sr.<\/p>\n

Authorities said they were aware Quinn\u2019s driving status had been canceled. The deputy then turned around and stopped the vehicle.<\/p>\n

During the stop, Quinn allegedly said he was driving home. He told authorities he had helped someone shovel out a vehicle.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Quinn also stated his license was still canceled.<\/p>\n

Charge Filed In Becker County<\/h2>\n

Authorities later confirmed Quinn\u2019s driving status, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Quinn was arrested and taken to the Becker County Jail. The complaint says he was booked and later released.<\/p>\n

The charge is listed as a gross misdemeanor. The maximum penalty is 364 days in jail, a $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

A criminal complaint is not a conviction. Quinn is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
