The charges include unlawful possession of a firearm or ammunition after a crime of violence. She also faces felony theft of a firearm.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the alleged theft happened on or about May 17, 2026. The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s 9th Judicial District.<\/p>\n<h2>Firearms Reported Missing From Safe<\/h2>\n<p>According to the complaint, the victim reported six firearms missing from a locked gun safe. The guns included rifles and shotguns.<\/p>\n<p>The victim told police he met Johnson and Jarquise Davanta Brown-Williams at Crooks Club. He said they later came to his home after the bar closed.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the victim was in the garage with Brown-Williams. Johnson was allegedly alone inside the home for part of that time.<\/p>\n<p>The victim later checked the home and found the guns missing, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"text-align: center; margin: 30px auto;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/JOHNSON-KEARRA-GRACE.jpg\" alt=\"Mugshot of Kearra Grace Johnson\" \/><figcaption>Kearra Grace Johnson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Guns Found Hidden In Bus<\/h2>\n<p>Investigators later searched a home on Jackson Avenue in Crookston. Court documents say they found shotgun shells, a trigger lock, gun oil, and a DNA test result with Johnson\u2019s name.<\/p>\n<p>Brown-Williams later told investigators the guns had been hidden at a junkyard in Crookston. He led investigators to a bus at 800 South Minnesota Street.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the bus, investigators found six firearms. The victim later confirmed they were the guns taken from his home, the complaint says.<\/p>\n<p>Frank Alexander Moody is also named in the complaint. Brown-Williams told investigators that Moody suggested hiding the guns at the junkyard.<\/p>\n<h2>Complaint Says Johnson Admitted Theft<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint says Johnson later admitted she stole the six guns. She allegedly said it was her idea to steal and sell them.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson allegedly told investigators she carried four guns out first. She then carried two more guns out during a second trip.<\/p>\n<p>Court documents say Johnson had a prior felony conviction from September 2025. The complaint says she was on supervised probation.<\/p>\n<p>That probation order barred her from possessing firearms or ammunition, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>The firearm possession charge cites <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/624.713\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Statute 624.713<\/a>. The theft charge cites <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/609.52\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Statute 609.52<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says prosecutors may seek an aggravated sentence if Johnson is convicted.
