Eifealdt was sentenced on a felony second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge. A felony first-degree criminal sexual conduct charge was dismissed under a plea agreement.<\/p>\n
Court records say Eifealdt had sexual contact with a minor girl on two occasions. The girl was more than five years younger than him.<\/p>\n
Sentence Stayed For 20 Years<\/h2>\n
On April 27, Becker County District Judge Michelle W. Lawson sentenced Eifealdt to 36 months in state prison at St. Cloud. That prison term was stayed for 20 years.<\/p>\n
Conditional release after confinement was set at 10 years. Eifealdt was also ordered to serve 90 days in jail.<\/p>\n
He received credit for one day already served. He was fined $500 and ordered to pay $85 in court fees.<\/p>\n As part of the sentence, Eifealdt was ordered not to drink alcohol or use drugs. He must also register as a predatory offender.<\/p>\n He was ordered to complete outpatient sex offender treatment. He must also take cognitive skills training.<\/p>\n The court also ordered him to follow cognitive behavioral programming as directed.<\/p>\n Eifealdt may have no contact with the victim. He may also have no contact with anyone under 18.<\/p>\n That restriction remains in effect unless his probation agent approves it.<\/p>\n The sentence will be served consecutively with a separate felony third-degree criminal sexual conduct case.<\/p>\n In that case, Eifealdt is accused of sexually assaulting a girl in her early teens in 2022.
