According to a criminal complaint filed in Minnesota District Court, Jayce Lee Parker, 20, of Roseau, has been charged with felony threats of violence and misdemeanor domestic assault.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the incident happened on May 27, 2026, at a home in rural Lake of the Woods County.<\/p>\n
Dispatchers received a report that Parker was acting erratically. The caller said Parker had threatened to burn the house down.<\/p>\n
When law enforcement arrived, Parker was allegedly yelling at his grandfather, identified in court documents as F.C.<\/p>\n
F.C. told law enforcement that Parker had been dropped off by his girlfriend, identified as V.H. He said Parker had been in a fight with her before arriving.<\/p>\n
F.C. also told authorities that Parker made comments about burning a house down and getting a pistol.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, Parker\u2019s grandmother, identified as T.C., was on the phone during part of the incident.<\/p>\n
She told authorities she heard Parker yelling in the background. She said the comments included threats involving gasoline, fire, and a pistol.<\/p>\n
Court documents say family members provided surveillance video. Investigators said the video appeared to capture Parker making several violent threats.<\/p>\n
Authorities searched the three bags Parker had with him. The complaint says no pistol was found.<\/p>\n

Parker was arrested and taken to the Lake of the Woods County Jail.<\/p>\n
According to court documents, Parker later said he was having a manic episode. He also said he needed help with anger problems.<\/p>\n
