Mahnomen: Crookston Man Faces Driving Charges<\/h2>\n

Mahnomen County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Crookston man is facing several charges in Mahnomen County District Court after a July traffic stop in Mahnomen.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint, Jack Daniel Krueger, 36, of Crookston, is charged in court file 44-CR-26-238.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from a traffic stop on July 15, 2024, at about 11:20 p.m.<\/p>\n

Court documents say Krueger was driving a tan GMC Sonoma in the City of Mahnomen.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Reported In Mahnomen<\/h2>\n

The complaint says a Mahnomen County deputy saw the vehicle traveling on Highway 59.<\/p>\n

The vehicle allegedly had no front license plate.<\/p>\n

The deputy also recognized the vehicle from a prior stop, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Court documents say the vehicle then pulled into the Stardust Hotel parking lot.<\/p>\n

A traffic stop was conducted after emergency lights were activated.<\/p>\n

Krueger was identified as the driver.<\/p>\n

Charges Listed In Complaint<\/h2>\n

Krueger is charged with expired vehicle registration under Minnesota Statute 168.09<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with driving after revocation under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The complaint also lists failure to provide proof of insurance under Minnesota Statute 169.791<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A fourth charge alleges intent to escape tax under Minnesota Statute 168.35<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That count is listed as a gross misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the vehicle\u2019s registration sticker showed October 2022.<\/p>\n

Court documents also allege Krueger\u2019s driving privileges were revoked.<\/p>\n

He also allegedly said the vehicle did not have insurance.<\/p>\n

Vehicle Towed After Stop<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, the vehicle was towed because it did not have insurance.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Krueger had been stopped several months earlier for similar issues.<\/p>\n

The court filing states the matter was filed by summons in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District.<\/p>\n

A criminal charge is an accusation.<\/p>\n

Krueger is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
