According to the North Dakota State Patrol<\/a>, the man was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado K1500 south on 28th Avenue Northeast.<\/p>\n The vehicle was south of the intersection with 99th Street Northeast. Authorities said the pickup was traveling at an unknown speed.<\/p>\n Investigators said the Chevrolet failed to make it through a curve. The driver then lost control of the pickup.<\/p>\n The vehicle left the road and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n Authorities said the man was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. His name was not released in the initial report.<\/p>\n Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash. Weather conditions were also listed as dry.<\/p>\n The crash happened during nighttime hours. No other vehicles were involved.<\/p>\n The crash was listed as a single-vehicle crash.
