Frazee Man Charged After Truck Found In Lane<\/h2>\n

Becker County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Frazee man is facing gross misdemeanor DWI charges after a truck was reportedly found stopped in a driving lane.<\/p>\n

According to a Becker County District Court complaint, Javier Castillo, 34, was charged in court file 03-CR-26-808.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from an alleged incident on March 15, 2026, near U.S. Highway 10 and Woods Drive.<\/p>\n

Castillo is charged with operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more within two hours.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n

Both charges are listed as gross misdemeanors under Minnesota DWI law.<\/p>\n

Truck Reported Stopped On Highway<\/h2>\n

The complaint says law enforcement responded at about 1:52 a.m. for a report of a truck stopped in the driving lane.<\/p>\n

The driver was reportedly asleep behind the wheel.<\/p>\n

When a deputy arrived, a man was found sitting in the driver\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the man did not respond when the window was knocked on.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was not in park, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement placed the vehicle in park before continuing the contact.<\/p>\n

The complaint says law enforcement noticed the smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Two unopened alcoholic beverage bottles were reportedly found in the center console cup holders.<\/p>\n

An empty beer bottle was also found in the backseat, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

Castillo was identified with a Texas identification card.<\/p>\n

He was then taken to the Becker County Jail.<\/p>\n

At the jail, law enforcement reported signs of impairment during a field sobriety check.<\/p>\n

The complaint says a search warrant was later granted for a blood or urine sample.<\/p>\n

Castillo agreed to provide a blood sample.<\/p>\n

The sample was taken at an emergency room at about 3:52 a.m.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, a Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension report showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.201.<\/p>\n
