He is also accused of driving after revocation while participating in the ignition interlock program.<\/p>\n<p>The case was filed in Beltrami County District Court under court file number 04-CR-26-1126.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic Stop On Roosevelt Road<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint states the stop happened on or about May 16, 2026. A Minnesota State Patrol unit was traveling on Roosevelt Road in Beltrami County.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities reported seeing a white Lexus and checking its license plate. The complaint says the registered owner was listed as Cale Douglas Mills.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators then learned Mills had a revoked license. They also learned he had an ignition interlock restriction.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was then stopped by law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>According to the complaint, Mills gave officers an expired driver\u2019s license. Prosecutors allege the Lexus did not have one installed.<\/p>\n<p>That count is listed under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/171.09\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Statute 171.09<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mills is also charged with driving after revocation while in the ignition interlock program.<\/p>\n<p>That charge is listed under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.revisor.mn.gov\/statutes\/cite\/171.24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Each charge carries a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail. Each charge also carries a possible $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n<h2>Prior Driving Record Cited<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint says Mills told officers he had an ignition interlock device in another vehicle. He allegedly said it was too costly to install one in the Lexus.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint also states Mills referenced a prior DWI from seven years earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Court records cited in the complaint list prior gross misdemeanor DWI convictions.
