Fake Bills Reported At Gas Station<\/h2>\n
According to the complaint, the case began after a report from Y92 gas station in Clearbrook.<\/p>\n
A person allegedly tried to use four $100 bills at the business on October 1, 2025. The bills were later found to be invalid.<\/p>\n
Investigators later searched a Clearbrook residence. Court documents say the person told authorities the bills came from his brother, Brett Kimball.<\/p>\n
More Bills Found During Search<\/h2>\n
During the search, investigators reported finding more bills in Kimball\u2019s bedroom.<\/p>\n
The complaint says the bills included six $100 bills, two $50 bills, two $20 bills, and one $5 bill. Court documents state the bills displayed \u201cFOR MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES.\u201d<\/p>\n
Authorities also received another report on October 5, 2025. A person said he sold a three-wheeler to Kimball and received $125 in cash.<\/p>\n
That person later learned the money was counterfeit, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
Felony Charge Filed<\/h2>\n
The complaint lists the total face value of the alleged counterfeit money at $1,270.<\/p>\n
Kimball is charged under Minnesota Statute 609.632<\/a>.
