Robin Mary Hilde, 40, of Audubon, is charged in Becker County District Court. The case is listed as Court File No. 03-CR-26-602.<\/p>\n
The complaint states the incident happened on or about November 8, 2025. Hilde is charged with two DWI-related counts.<\/p>\n
Charges Filed In Becker County<\/h2>\n
Count one alleges Hilde operated a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more. The complaint says the result was measured within two hours of driving.<\/p>\n
Count two alleges Hilde operated a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n
Both counts are listed as gross misdemeanors. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 364 days in jail. Each also carries a possible $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n
The charges cite Minnesota Statute 169A.20<\/a>. They also reference Minnesota Statute 169A.26<\/a>.<\/p>\n According to the complaint, dispatch received a report of a white sedan traveling fast. The caller said the car was eastbound in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 10.<\/p>\n The vehicle later turned south onto County Highway 5, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n A law enforcement officer located the vehicle. The officer reported seeing the vehicle hit the fog line and center line. The complaint also says the vehicle weaved in its lane while going around a corner.<\/p>\n The traffic stop happened at about 10:42 p.m. after the vehicle turned onto County Highway 6.<\/p>\n The complaint says Hilde was identified as the driver. The officer reported smelling alcohol from the vehicle.<\/p>\n The officer also reported watery eyes and slurred speech. The complaint states Hilde\u2019s answers to some questions did not appear to make sense.<\/p>\n Hilde allegedly told the officer she had consumed about three beers. She said her last beer was about one hour earlier.<\/p>\n The complaint says Hilde showed several signs of impairment during field sobriety testing.<\/p>\n She then provided a preliminary breath test sample of 0.18, according to the complaint. Hilde was arrested and taken to the Becker County Jail.<\/p>\n At the jail, Hilde agreed to submit to a breath test. The complaint says the test showed a 0.16 alcohol concentration at 11:49 p.m.<\/p>\n Court records can be searched through Minnesota Court Records Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n A criminal complaint is not a conviction.
