Mindy Lynn Kloos, 35, of Crookston, is charged with felony fifth-degree controlled substance possession. She also faces a misdemeanor legend-drug charge.<\/p>\n
The charges were filed in Polk County District Court under case number 60-CR-26-631.<\/p>\n

According to the amended complaint, the case began on May 11, 2026. Crookston police were called to a reported domestic disturbance on Euclid Avenue.<\/p>\n
Authorities said Kloos was at the home with a man identified in court records as PJB.<\/p>\n
The complaint says Kloos was on supervised probation in another case. Officers said they had reason to believe she may have violated probation terms.<\/p>\n
Kloos denied recent controlled substance use, according to the complaint. She later took a urine test.<\/p>\n
The complaint says the test was presumptively positive for methamphetamine, amphetamine, THC, and MDMA.<\/p>\n Investigators said Kloos admitted to having methamphetamine in her bedroom.<\/p>\n A search was then conducted under her probation terms, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n Authorities reported finding a plastic baggie with 0.38 grams of a crystalline substance.<\/p>\n The substance field-tested presumptively positive for methamphetamine, the complaint states.<\/p>\n The baggie was sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for further testing.<\/p>\n Under Minnesota Statute 152.025<\/a>, fifth-degree controlled substance possession can be charged as a felony.<\/p>\n The complaint also alleges a baggie of pills was produced by PJB.<\/p>\n The pills were later identified as Trazodone, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n Court records say Kloos stated she had a prescription for Trazodone.<\/p>\n Prosecutors allege Kloos unlawfully possessed, sold, gave away, bartered, exchanged, or distributed Trazodone to PJB.<\/p>\n Under Minnesota Statute 151.37<\/a>, legend drugs are regulated under state law.<\/p>\n Kloos was arrested and taken to the Northwest Regional Corrections Center.<\/p>\n The complaint says she was being held on an order of detention for an alleged probation violation.<\/p>\n Additional public case information may be available through Minnesota Court Records Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n The charges are allegations.
