According to the criminal complaint, the incident happened on or about March 26, 2026. The complaint says Carlson was seen near the driver\u2019s side of a vehicle on Park Road.<\/p>\n
A Becker County investigator was at a residence for a follow-up case. The investigator reported seeing Carlson near the vehicle. No other person was seen near Carlson or the vehicle, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
The complaint says the investigator later heard a vehicle engine rev. Carlson and the vehicle had left the area, according to the court document.<\/p>\n
Dispatch then checked Carlson\u2019s driving status. The complaint says the check showed Carlson\u2019s license status was canceled as inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n

The investigator caught up with the vehicle and followed it. The complaint says Carlson was seen looking into the driver\u2019s side mirror.<\/p>\n
The investigator waited to stop the vehicle until reaching Highway 10. The complaint says the delay was for safety reasons.<\/p>\n
After the stop, the investigator approached the vehicle. Carlson was allegedly in the driver\u2019s seat. The complaint says no one else was inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Carlson was then arrested on suspicion of driving after cancellation.<\/p>\n
The charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.
