Detroit Lakes Woman Charged After Mall Disturbance<\/h2>\n

Detroit Lakes<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a> \u2014 A Mahnomen woman is facing charges in Becker County District Court after a reported disturbance in Detroit Lakes.<\/p>\n

Kadynce Marie Retz has been charged with furnishing alcohol to a person under 21. She also faces a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Becker County District Court under court file number 03-CR-26-639. The charges are allegations. Retz is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n

Disturbance Reported At Mall<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, Detroit Lakes police were called on November 10, 2025, at about 11:49 p.m.<\/p>\n

The call involved a disturbance between two females. The incident happened near Washington Square Mall in Detroit Lakes.<\/p>\n

Dispatchers were told that one of the females may have had an arrest warrant. Police later learned that Retz did not have a warrant.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Retz was found in the northwest corner of the mall parking lot. Police reported that she appeared to have been crying.<\/p>\n

Alcohol Allegation Detailed<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Retz told officers she and another female had been drinking. The other female was identified in court records by initials.<\/p>\n

Police reported that the other female was 20 years old. Officers also reported smelling alcohol on her.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, she took a preliminary breath test. The result was reported as 0.203.<\/p>\n

Retz allegedly told officers that she supplied the alcohol. The complaint says she knew the other female was under 21.<\/p>\n

Argument Over Relationship Issues<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Retz told police the two had argued about relationship issues. She said the situation got out of hand.<\/p>\n

Retz also told officers they had been talking in an apartment hallway. She said the conversation became heated.<\/p>\n

A neighbor then confronted them about being loud, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Retz was later transported to the Becker County Sheriff\u2019s Office lobby. She was then brought to a Circle K to wait for her father.<\/p>\n
