Felony Property Damage Charge<\/h2>\n
According to the complaint, Iverson is accused of damaging property owned by Russ Iverson.<\/p>\n
The complaint alleges Iverson kicked a hole in a wall.<\/p>\n
It also alleges she broke a key inside a deadbolt lock.<\/p>\n
The repair estimate was later listed at $1,400.<\/p>\n
Under Minnesota Statute 609.595<\/a>, first-degree property damage can be charged when repair costs exceed $1,000.<\/p>\n The felony charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.<\/p>\n It also carries a possible fine of up to $10,000.<\/p>\n The complaint also includes a misdemeanor fifth-degree assault charge.<\/p>\n Court documents allege Iverson threw a mostly full container of coffee grounds at Ryan Iverson.<\/p>\n The complaint says the container hit his right forearm and right temple.<\/p>\n It also alleges coffee grounds were spread across the kitchen.<\/p>\n Authorities reported coffee grounds on a wall and plant leaves.<\/p>\n The complaint further alleges Iverson threw a shoebox containing magazines.<\/p>\n Ryan Iverson told authorities he was able to dodge that item.<\/p>\n Fifth-degree assault is listed under Minnesota Statute 609.224<\/a>.<\/p>\n The misdemeanor charge carries a maximum penalty of 90 days in jail.<\/p>\n It also carries a possible fine of up to $1,000.<\/p>\n According to the complaint, Ryan Iverson said Jayden Iverson obtained a key without permission.<\/p>\n He said the key broke while she tried to enter the property.<\/p>\n Later that evening, she was allowed inside using another key, the complaint says.<\/p>\n Ryan Iverson claimed she became aggressive inside the home.<\/p>\n He said he later left the residence and returned on April 1.<\/p>\n He reported the home was in disarray when he returned.<\/p>\n Russ Iverson told authorities he did not want Jayden Iverson on the property.<\/p>\n A no-trespass order was later signed, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n Jayden Iverson denied throwing anything or acting violently toward Ryan Iverson.<\/p>\n She also claimed Ryan Iverson gave her the key.<\/p>\n She said Ryan Iverson kicked the hole in the wall.<\/p>\n The charges are allegations at this stage.<\/p>\n Iverson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n More information on Minnesota court records is available through the Minnesota Judicial Branch<\/a>.<\/p>\n I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News<\/a>.<\/p>\n Thief River Falls Woman Charged In $1,400 Damage Case Middle River (trfnews.i234.me) \u2014 A Thief River Falls woman is facing criminal charges in Marshall County District Court.
