EUCLID, Minn.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Roseau man died Monday after a single-vehicle crash in Polk County.<\/p>\n

The crash was reported at 2:08 p.m. Monday, May 18. It happened along 340th Avenue Southwest, near 120th Street Southwest, in Euclid.<\/p>\n

The Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office said a Good Samaritan stopped to check on the vehicle. The vehicle appeared to have gone off the road.<\/p>\n

The caller found the driver unresponsive and called 911.<\/p>\n

Emergency Crews Responded<\/h2>\n

Deputies arrived at the scene with the East Grand Forks Fire Department and Crookston Area Ambulance. First responders began lifesaving measures at the crash site.<\/p>\n

The driver was later identified as Dale Jensen, 65, of Roseau, Minnesota. Officials said Jensen was the only person inside the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Jensen was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Crash Remains Under Review<\/h2>\n

Authorities said Jensen was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. They also said alcohol is not believed to be a factor.<\/p>\n

Jensen was transported to the University of North Dakota Forensic Pathology<\/a> for further investigation.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under review by law enforcement and assisting agencies.<\/p>\n

Agencies assisting at the scene included the Minnesota State Patrol<\/a>, Crookston Area Ambulance, and the East Grand Forks Fire Department.<\/p>\n

The Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office continues to handle the case.<\/p>\n
