Crookston<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Grand Forks man is wanted in Polk County after prosecutors filed two felony threats charges against him.<\/p>\n

Steven Andrew Rodahl, 33, is charged in Polk County District Court with two counts of threats of violence.<\/p>\n

The case is listed under court file number 60-CR-26-153.<\/p>\n

Each felony count carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. Each count also carries a possible $10,000 fine.<\/p>\n

Alleged Threats In Crookston<\/h2>\n

According to the criminal complaint, the alleged threats happened on or about January 11, 2026.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege Rodahl threatened V.R. and her boyfriend.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Rodahl allegedly told V.R. he would kill her and her boyfriend.<\/p>\n

V.R. later told law enforcement the threats felt real. She said Rodahl appeared serious during the alleged comments.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the incident happened in Polk County, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement was called to a residence on January 12, 2026.<\/p>\n

V.R. reported that Rodahl was throwing items inside the home.<\/p>\n

Officers reported finding children crying and furniture tipped over.<\/p>\n

V.R. told investigators that Rodahl grabbed her by the hair.<\/p>\n

Rodahl later denied hitting her, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

A Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was issued on January 16, 2026.<\/p>\n

The order barred Rodahl from contacting V.R. and five minor children.<\/p>\n

It also barred him from going near the Crookston residence.<\/p>\n

Investigators later received a report of a possible DANCO violation.<\/p>\n

V.R. said Rodahl came to the residence after being released from jail.<\/p>\n

The complaint also says Rodahl contacted Gina Dale while in custody.<\/p>\n

Dale told investigators she believed Rodahl wanted a message passed to V.R.<\/p>\n
