Mahnomen County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Lengby woman is facing a gross misdemeanor charge after a traffic stop in Mahnomen County.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint filed in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District, Nicole Grace Jackson was charged with driving after cancellation. The complaint states her driving privileges had been canceled as being inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Mahnomen County District Court under Court File No. 44-CR-26-201. The alleged offense happened on or about April 10, 2026.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Reported On Highway 200<\/h2>\n

The complaint states that a vehicle was seen traveling eastbound on Highway 200 in Mahnomen County. A license plate check showed the registered owner was Jackson.<\/p>\n

Court documents state the check also showed Jackson\u2019s driving status as canceled, inimical to public safety. The legal term is often listed as DAC-IPS in court records.<\/p>\n

A traffic stop was then conducted. The complaint states the driver was identified as Nicole Grace Jackson. It also states Jackson was aware of her driving status.<\/p>\n

Charge Carries Possible Jail Time<\/h2>\n

Jackson is charged under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>. The charge is driving after cancellation, inimical to public safety.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists the offense level as a gross misdemeanor. The maximum penalty is 364 days in jail, a $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

The charge is only an accusation. Jackson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
