Her family and community members are still seeking answers.<\/p>\n<p>The search was supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spiritlakenation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spirit Lake Tribe<\/a>. Volunteers, partner groups, and residents joined the effort.<\/p>\n<p>Search teams focused on the Woodlake District, also known as Tokio. They also searched areas near Fort Totten.<\/p>\n<p>Coordinated ground searches covered a large amount of land over two days. The effort included planned routes and volunteer support.<\/p>\n<h2>Volunteers Search Over Mother\u2019s Day Weekend<\/h2>\n<p>About 36 volunteers helped with Saturday\u2019s search. Another 20 volunteers joined on Sunday, May 10.<\/p>\n<p>The search continued despite the Mother\u2019s Day holiday weekend. Family members said the support showed Jemini remains loved and remembered.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/mn.gov\/indian-affairs\/resources\/mn-agency-resources\/mmiwr-.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Minnesota Office of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives<\/a> also assisted with coordination.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives helped with planning, support, and organization during the search.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center; margin: 25px 0;\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"max-width: 100%; height: auto; border-radius: 8px;\" src=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Jemini-Posey.png\" alt=\"Jemini Posey\" \/><em>Jemini Posey has been missing since 2024.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Items Reported For Review<\/h2>\n<p>During the search, teams found items and areas of interest. Those findings were reported for further review.<\/p>\n<p>No confirmation has been made about those findings. Any evidence will go through the proper review process.<\/p>\n<p>Chairwoman Lonna J. Street said the tribe remains focused on Jemini\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur hearts remain with Jemini\u2019s family, her loved ones, and especially her child,\u201d Street said.<\/p>\n<p>Street said the effort is about helping families know they are not alone. She said the tribe will keep using available resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese are not just cases to us,\u201d Street said. \u201cThese are our relatives, our community members, and our people.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Family Says Search Will Continue<\/h2>\n<p>The search was started by Jemini\u2019s sister, Jade Posey, and Jemini\u2019s family.<\/p>\n<p>Jade Posey thanked everyone who came out to pray, search, and support the family.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not giving up on bringing my sister home,\u201d Jade Posey said.<\/p>\n<p>The tribe said the weekend search did not bring final answers. Still, it helped identify areas for follow-up.<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit Lake Tribe is exploring more resources.
