MAHNOMEN COUNTY<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Christine Ann Dalby of Gary, Minnesota, is facing a gross misdemeanor charge in Mahnomen County District Court.<\/p>\n

The charge follows a traffic stop on Highway 200 on February 16, 2026. Court records say Dalby was driving westbound at about 7:16 p.m. when law enforcement stopped the vehicle.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, the vehicle had a right-side taillight that was not working. The stop happened in Mahnomen County, Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Charge Filed In Court<\/h2>\n

Dalby is charged with driving after cancellation as being inimical to public safety. The charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The court file number is 44-CR-26-172. The prosecutor’s file number is 0440029643.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Dalby\u2019s driving privileges had been canceled or denied. It also says she had notice, or reason to know, about that status.<\/p>\n

Possible Penalty<\/h2>\n

The offense is listed as a gross misdemeanor. If convicted, Dalby could face up to 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n

She could also face a fine of up to $3,000. The court may also impose both penalties.<\/p>\n

The case remains active in the Minnesota District Court<\/a>. A criminal complaint is not a conviction.<\/p>\n

Dalby is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
