Bemidji<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Samuel Joseph White Sr. of Bemidji is facing a felony financial transaction card fraud charge in Beltrami County District Court.<\/p>\n

The charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 609.821. Court records list the case number as 04-CR-25-3440.<\/p>\n

According to the criminal complaint, the case began after a vehicle was reported entered on June 16, 2025. The victim, identified as K.M., told police several items were missing.<\/p>\n

The missing items included a wallet, identification, an Affinity debit card, a Social Security card, work identification, Adderall, and AirPods.<\/p>\n

Card Reportedly Used At Several Stores<\/h2>\n

The complaint says K.M. later reported that the debit card had been used at several Bemidji businesses. Those locations included Tobacco & Vapes, Dunham\u2019s Sports, Kohl\u2019s, and Orton\u2019s Bemidji Cenex.<\/p>\n

Investigators reviewed receipts and store video from several locations. The complaint says purchases were made on June 16, 2025.<\/p>\n

One purchase was reported at Dunham\u2019s Sports for $158.99. Another purchase was reported at Kohl\u2019s for $237.00. A third purchase was reported at Orton\u2019s Bemidji Cenex for $70.94.<\/p>\n

The complaint says investigators also reviewed a pending Tobacco & Vapes purchase for $245.45. Video was not obtained from that location, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Investigators said video and receipts confirmed White used K.M.\u2019s card at Dunham\u2019s Sports, Kohl\u2019s, and Orton\u2019s Bemidji Cenex.<\/p>\n

The confirmed purchases totaled $466.93, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Felony Charge Filed In Beltrami County<\/h2>\n

White is charged with financial transaction card fraud, use without consent. The complaint alleges he used the card without the cardholder\u2019s consent.<\/p>\n

The charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

The court complaint also lists prior Minnesota convictions in White\u2019s criminal history.<\/p>\n

A criminal complaint is not a conviction. White is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
