The case is filed under court number 60-CR-26-528.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint charges Lord with third-degree driving while impaired. One count alleges driving under the influence. A second count alleges an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged offense happened on April 25, 2026, in East Grand Forks.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic Stop In East Grand Forks<\/h2>\n<p>According to the complaint, a silver Chevrolet Silverado was stopped on 5th Avenue Northeast. The vehicle allegedly had a cracked windshield and a license plate light issue.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says officers also reported an odor of cannabis from the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Lord was identified as the driver. Addison Eve Pal, 18, was identified as a passenger.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint states Lord had bloodshot and watery eyes. He allegedly said he had smoked cannabis about two hours earlier. Lord then allegedly admitted he had been drinking.<\/p>\n<p>After his arrest, Lord was taken to the East Grand Forks Police Department. The complaint says a later breath test showed a final reported value of .10.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators also reported finding an open bottle of Karkov Vodka in the front passenger area. Three cannabis vape pens were also found, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Pal was cited for minor consumption, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<h2>Prior DWI Listed In Complaint<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint says Lord had a prior DWI conviction in North Dakota in 2025. That prior case is listed as an aggravating factor.<\/p>\n<p>Each third-degree DWI count carries a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail. Each count also carries a possible $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint also lists possible release conditions under Minnesota law.
