Goodridge<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Roseau man is facing three felony charges after a two-vehicle crash near Goodridge.<\/p>\n

Michael Thmor Daigle, 45, is charged in Pennington County District Court.<\/p>\n

The case is filed under Court File No. 57-CR-26-256.<\/p>\n

Daigle faces three counts of criminal vehicular operation causing substantial bodily harm.<\/p>\n

The charges stem from a February 13, 2026, crash.<\/p>\n

Crash Reported Near Goodridge<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, emergency crews were called around 7:50 a.m.<\/p>\n

The crash happened near Minnesota Highway 1 and 310th Avenue Northeast.<\/p>\n

Authorities found a white Buick sedan in the roadway.<\/p>\n

A black GMC Sierra was found in the northwest ditch.<\/p>\n

Both vehicles had severe damage.<\/p>\n

Airbags had also deployed in both vehicles.<\/p>\n

Complaint Alleges Drug Impairment<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Daigle was found sitting on the road after the crash.<\/p>\n

He reported foot or ankle pain.<\/p>\n

Authorities said they noticed a strong marijuana odor.<\/p>\n

Daigle allegedly had glossy eyes and dilated pupils.<\/p>\n

Daigle allegedly admitted to smoking marijuana that morning.<\/p>\n

He said he had left a casino in Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n

He was reportedly headed to Roseau.<\/p>\n

Daigle allegedly said he heard rumble strips.<\/p>\n

He also allegedly said he tried to stop but could not.<\/p>\n

A blood sample was later taken under a search warrant.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the sample was sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A BCA report allegedly found delta-9-THC and cocaine metabolite in Daigle\u2019s blood.<\/p>\n

Three people were hurt<\/h2>\n

The complaint says S.K. was driving the GMC Sierra.<\/p>\n

Two juvenile passengers, G.K. and L.K., were also inside.<\/p>\n

All three occupants were wearing seat belts, according to court records.<\/p>\n

S.K. allegedly suffered a fractured vertebra, concussion, and broken thumb.<\/p>\n

G.K. allegedly suffered a broken ankle.<\/p>\n

The complaint says G.K. later needed surgery and screws.<\/p>\n

L.K. allegedly suffered a concussion and ongoing headaches.<\/p>\n

The complaint says L.K. later saw a concussion specialist.<\/p>\n

Felony Charges Filed<\/h2>\n

The charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 609.2113<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each count carries up to three years in prison.<\/p>\n

Each count also carries a possible $10,000 fine.<\/p>\n

Court records also note Daigle had prior drug convictions.<\/p>\n

Those prior cases were listed from Roseau County in January 2025.<\/p>\n

All charges are accusations.<\/p>\n

Daigle is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
