Nay Tah Waush<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Martha Christine Hoover, 56, of Mahnomen, is facing a gross misdemeanor liquor charge in Mahnomen County District Court.<\/p>\n

The charge stems from an underage alcohol compliance check on October 28, 2025.<\/p>\n

Court records list the case as 44-CR-26-159.<\/p>\n

Hoover is charged with furnishing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years old.<\/p>\n

The charge carries a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n

It also carries a possible $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n

Underage Compliance Check At Pinehurst<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, local and state task force agents were checking liquor businesses.<\/p>\n

The checks took place at establishments on the White Earth Reservation.<\/p>\n

At about 4:18 p.m., undisclosed under-21 decoys entered Pinehurst.<\/p>\n

The business is listed at 273 County Road 4 in Nay Tah Waush.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the decoys later left with a six-pack of Ciderboys Apple Peach Hard Cider.<\/p>\n

The decoys reported that a bartender sold them the alcohol.<\/p>\n

They also reported that the bartender did not ask for identification.<\/p>\n

Complaint Identifies Bartender<\/h2>\n

The complaint says law enforcement later followed up at Pinehurst Resort on December 4, 2025.<\/p>\n

A bartender was shown a photo of the worker who allegedly served the decoys.<\/p>\n

The bartender identified the woman as Martha Christine Hoover, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Authorities later spoke with Hoover and confirmed her full name and date of birth.<\/p>\n

No officer names are being included in this report.<\/p>\n

The charge is an allegation at this stage.<\/p>\n

Hoover is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
