Court records list the case as 04-CR-26-755.<\/p>\n<p>King-Merrick is charged with second-degree burglary of a dwelling. She is also charged with interfering with an emergency 911 call.<\/p>\n<p>The burglary charge carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison. It also carries a possible $20,000 fine.<\/p>\n<p>The 911 interference charge carries up to 364 days in jail. It also carries a possible $3,000 fine.<\/p>\n<h2>Deputies Called To Custody Dispute<\/h2>\n<p>According to the complaint, deputies responded around 8:15 p.m. to a residence on Doberman Court Southeast.<\/p>\n<p>The call was reported as a disorderly custody dispute.<\/p>\n<p>Two people, identified in court records as J.D. and M.H., spoke with deputies at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>They reported that J.D. had an ex parte child custody order. The order was issued through the Red Lake Tribal Courts.<\/p>\n<p>The order gave J.D. full custody of the children shared with King-Merrick, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<h2>Complaint Says 911 Call Was Interrupted<\/h2>\n<p>The complaint says King-Merrick arrived at the home and received a copy of the custody order.<\/p>\n<p>M.H. then went back inside the residence, which belonged to J.D.<\/p>\n<p>About one minute later, King-Merrick allegedly entered the home without permission.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say King-Merrick did not live at the address. They also say she had no ownership interest there.<\/p>\n<p>During the incident, M.H. called 911, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>While M.H. was on the phone, King-Merrick allegedly slapped M.H.\u2019s hand.<\/p>\n<p>She also allegedly tried to take the phone from M.H.<\/p>\n<h2>Charges Remain Allegations<\/h2>\n<p>The charges are allegations at this stage.
