Blackduck<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Blackduck woman is facing a gross misdemeanor DWI charge in Beltrami County District Court.<\/p>\n

Holly Anna Davis, 32, is charged with third-degree DWI.<\/p>\n

The charge alleges an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or more within two hours of driving.<\/p>\n

The court file number is 04-CR-26-935.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the case began during a traffic stop on April 23, 2026.<\/p>\n

The stop happened near Highway 72 in the City of Blackduck.<\/p>\n

Erratic Driving Reported<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, a Beltrami County deputy saw a red Chevrolet wagon driving erratically.<\/p>\n

The vehicle allegedly crossed over the fog line and onto the shoulder.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the vehicle then slowed suddenly.<\/p>\n

It returned to its lane before signaling a right turn.<\/p>\n

The vehicle then continued for some distance without turning.<\/p>\n

Emergency lights were activated to stop the vehicle, according to court records.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the vehicle slowed but did not stop right away.<\/p>\n

It later turned into a random approach.<\/p>\n

Children Allegedly In Vehicle<\/h2>\n

The driver was identified as Holly Anna Davis.<\/p>\n

Davis allegedly said her children were messing around in the back seat.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, two children were in the back seat.<\/p>\n

The children were described as well under 16 years old.<\/p>\n

That detail is listed as an aggravating factor in the case.<\/p>\n

Breath Test Result Listed<\/h2>\n

While speaking with Davis, law enforcement reported signs of impairment.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists bloodshot, watery eyes and slightly slurred speech.<\/p>\n

It also notes a strong odor of alcohol.<\/p>\n

Davis allegedly said she had four White Claw drinks about one hour earlier.<\/p>\n

Field sobriety testing was then conducted.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Davis struggled with directions and balance.<\/p>\n

She refused a preliminary breath test, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Davis was arrested and taken to the Beltrami County Jail.<\/p>\n

After being read the Minnesota breath test advisory, she agreed to testing.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the breath test result was 0.14.<\/p>\n

The charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 169A.20<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The third-degree DWI reference appears under Minnesota Statute 169A.26<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The maximum sentence is 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n

It may also include a $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n
