Mahnomen County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Naytahwaush man is facing a gross misdemeanor charge in Mahnomen County District Court.<\/p>\n

Glenn Edward Bunker, 30, is charged with furnishing alcohol to a person under 21.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District.<\/p>\n

The court file number is 44-CR-26-158.<\/p>\n

The charge stems from an underage alcohol compliance check on October 28, 2025.<\/p>\n

The check happened at Sundown Saloon in Waubun, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Underage Decoys Entered Saloon<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, law enforcement helped conduct checks at liquor businesses.<\/p>\n

The checks took place on the White Earth Reservation.<\/p>\n

At about 5:46 p.m., underage decoys entered Sundown Saloon.<\/p>\n

The business is listed in court records at 1004 Pleasant Avenue in Waubun.<\/p>\n

A short time later, the decoys left the business with alcohol.<\/p>\n

The complaint says they had a six-pack of Angry Orchard bottles.<\/p>\n

The decoys told investigators a bartender sold them the alcohol.<\/p>\n

They reported the bartender did not ask for identification.<\/p>\n

The decoys then paid for the alcohol and left the bar, according to court records.<\/p>\n

Bartender Later Identified<\/h2>\n

On December 4, 2025, law enforcement returned to Sundown Saloon.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, a bartender was shown a photo of the worker.<\/p>\n

The bartender identified the worker as Glenn Edward Bunker.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Bunker later confirmed he worked at Sundown Saloon.<\/p>\n

Bunker is charged under Minnesota Statute 340A.503<\/a>.<\/p>\n

That law covers alcohol sales and furnishing alcohol to people under 21.<\/p>\n

The charge also references Minnesota Statute 340A.702<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The maximum sentence is 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n

It may also include a $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

Case Remains Pending<\/h2>\n

The complaint lists Bunker as living in Naytahwaush.<\/p>\n

He was charged by summons, according to the court filing.<\/p>\n

Alcohol rules for businesses are also listed by the Minnesota Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement Division<\/a>.<\/p>\n
