Thief River Falls<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Minneapolis man is facing charges after police were called to a Thief River Falls yard.<\/p>\n

The report came in on April 23 at about 7:42 p.m.<\/p>\n

Police were sent to 524 Fourth Street West.<\/p>\n

The caller reported a man lying in a yard and screaming.<\/p>\n

Ronin Bradley Cloud, 20, of Minneapolis, was later arrested.<\/p>\n

Cloud has been charged with fourth-degree assault of a peace officer.<\/p>\n

He also faces a disorderly conduct charge.<\/p>\n

Complaint Details Yard Call<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, the homeowner said Cloud sat in the yard for about 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

The homeowner reported that Cloud was screaming at times.<\/p>\n

Police spoke with Cloud after arriving at the scene.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Cloud allegedly made statements about wind and time travel.<\/p>\n

Police also reported smelling alcohol on Cloud.<\/p>\n

Cloud denied consuming alcohol, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Officers offered Cloud a ride home.<\/p>\n

The complaint says he refused to enter a squad vehicle.<\/p>\n

Assault Allegation Listed<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Cloud became more agitated during the contact.<\/p>\n

He allegedly raised his voice and made statements about dying.<\/p>\n

Cloud then allegedly tried to punch or push an officer.<\/p>\n

The complaint says he hit the officer\u2019s upper vest.<\/p>\n

Police then brought Cloud to the ground and handcuffed him.<\/p>\n

While being taken to the Law Enforcement Center, Cloud allegedly hit his head inside the squad.<\/p>\n

Cloud later submitted to a breath test.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the result was 0.253 blood alcohol content.<\/p>\n

He was taken to Sanford Medical Center for medical clearance.<\/p>\n

Cloud was later discharged and returned to the Law Enforcement Center.<\/p>\n

Jail Incident Also Alleged<\/h2>\n

At the jail, Cloud allegedly raised his fist and moved toward an officer.<\/p>\n

The complaint says he was held until he calmed down.<\/p>\n

Cloud also allegedly refused to change out of his street clothes.<\/p>\n

Officers then assisted him into a smock, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n
