{"id":27301,"date":"2026-04-30T06:07:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:07:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/?p=27301"},"modified":"2026-04-30T06:07:23","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T11:07:23","slug":"kenneth-lindquist-73","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/kenneth-lindquist-73\/","title":{"rendered":"Kenneth Lindquist, 73"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thief River Falls \u2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth George Lindquist, 73, of Thief River Falls, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at HIA Heather\u2019s House, Fargo, ND.<br \/>\nKenny was born to Ame and Esther (Johnson) Lindquist on January 15, 1953, in Thief River Falls, where he grew up and graduated from high school. Kenny began his career working in the produce department at Hartz Foods, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly nature.<br \/>\nHe married Janet Kay Alnes, on September 10, 1977. Together they built a life centered on family, hard work, and love. Kenny later returned to school and worked as an electrician until retiring.<br \/>\nHe had a passion for the outdoors\u2014hunting and fishing were a way of life. Whether in the woods or out on the water, that\u2019s where he felt most at home. But more than anything, Kenny will be remembered as an incredible dad. He always made time for his girls, whether it was playing games, laughing together, or organizing neighborhood games of bat and ball with all the kids.<br \/>\nKenny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be dearly missed.<br \/>\nKen is survived by his daughters, Wendy (Adam) Nordin, Jenny Lindquist; grandchildren, Talan and Eli Lindquist, Wylie Nordin, and Damien Abrahamsen; sister, Carol (Delaine) Johnson; and brother-in-law, David Alnes.<br \/>\nHe was preceded in death by his wife, Janet; parents, Ame and Esther; and sister, Janet Dailey.<br \/>\nVisitation will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 10\u201311 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls.<br \/>\nInterment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thief River Falls \u2013 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth George Lindquist, 73, of Thief River Falls, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at HIA Heather\u2019s House, Fargo, ND.
