Pennington County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Grafton, North Dakota, man is facing three felony charges in Pennington County District Court.<\/p>\n

Billy Joe Deane Stroh, 48, has been charged with three counts of threats of violence.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s Ninth Judicial District. The court file number is 57-CR-25-480.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists an order of detention in the case.<\/p>\n

Deputies Responded To Domestic Report<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, deputies responded on July 21, 2025.<\/p>\n

The call involved a reported domestic incident at a Pennington County address.<\/p>\n

Deputies spoke with three juveniles at the scene.<\/p>\n

One juvenile said Stroh had been yelling most of the night.<\/p>\n

The juvenile also said Stroh had kicked them out of a camper.<\/p>\n

Another juvenile reported that Stroh chased the children.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Stroh allegedly made threats involving a tree.<\/p>\n

The same juvenile also reported a threat against his father.<\/p>\n

Children Reportedly Hid In Ditch<\/h2>\n

A third juvenile said the children ran down a driveway.<\/p>\n

The complaint says they hid from Stroh in a ditch.<\/p>\n

The juvenile also reported that Stroh found them.<\/p>\n

Stroh allegedly grabbed one juvenile by the arm.<\/p>\n

The complaint says that it caused the child to cry.<\/p>\n

The children were later told to call law enforcement and hide.<\/p>\n

Deputies also spoke with Stroh after arriving at the scene.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Stroh claimed the children had upset him.<\/p>\n

He also said he had acted like he was fighting with a woman inside the camper.<\/p>\n

Felony Charges Filed<\/h2>\n

Each count is charged under Minnesota Statute 609.713<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Each felony count carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.<\/p>\n

Each count also carries a possible $10,000 fine.<\/p>\n

A criminal complaint is not a conviction.<\/p>\n

Stroh is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
