Nay Tah Waush<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Nay Tah Waush man is facing a gross misdemeanor domestic assault charge in Mahnomen County District Court.<\/p>\n

Eric Paul Greene is charged with domestic assault as a subsequent violation.<\/p>\n

The case is filed in Minnesota\u2019s 9th Judicial District under court file 44-CR-26-34.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the alleged incident happened September 3, 2025, in Nay Tah Waush.<\/p>\n

Report Of Live-Streamed Assault<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, dispatch received reports at about 10:28 a.m.<\/p>\n

The callers reported that an assault was being streamed live on Facebook.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement responded to a home on New Circle Drive in Nay Tah Waush.<\/p>\n

Authorities spoke with the alleged victim, identified in court records as M.A.<\/p>\n

M.A. told authorities she and Greene had been together for 11 years.<\/p>\n

She also said they share three children, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Complaint Details Allegations<\/h2>\n

The complaint says M.A. wanted Greene to take a drug test.<\/p>\n

She said she did not want him near the children without taking one.<\/p>\n

M.A. alleged that Greene tackled her after returning home.<\/p>\n

She told authorities she was scared for her life.<\/p>\n

M.A. also showed authorities video she had recorded, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the video showed Greene walking toward M.A. inside the home.<\/p>\n

The video then appeared to be pushed close to someone\u2019s body.<\/p>\n

Authorities reported hearing M.A. yelling during the recording.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Greene later exited the home and shut the door.<\/p>\n

Authorities were not able to locate Greene at that time.<\/p>\n

Charge And Possible Penalty<\/h2>\n

Greene is charged under Minnesota Statute 609.2242<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The charge is listed as a gross misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

The maximum sentence is 364 days in jail.<\/p>\n

The charge also carries a possible $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Greene has a prior conviction for interfering with an emergency call.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists that conviction as a domestic violence-related offense.<\/p>\n

A summons was issued in the current case.<\/p>\n

The charge is only an accusation at this stage.<\/p>\n

Greene is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
