Nay Tah Waush<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Mahnomen woman is facing a gross misdemeanor charge after a traffic stop in Mahnomen County.<\/p>\n

Amy Rose Beaulieu, 46, is charged in Mahnomen County District Court with operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock device.<\/p>\n

The case is filed in Minnesota\u2019s 9th Judicial District. The court file number is 44-CR-26-137.<\/p>\n

Charge Filed In Mahnomen County<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, the charge stems from a December 15, 2025, traffic stop in Nay Tah Waush.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Beaulieu was driving north on County Road 4. A radar reading showed 40 mph in a posted 30 mph zone.<\/p>\n

A traffic stop was then conducted. Beaulieu was identified as the driver, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

During the stop, authorities checked Beaulieu\u2019s driving status. The complaint says her license required an ignition interlock device.<\/p>\n

Complaint Details Interlock Requirement<\/h2>\n

Beaulieu was asked if she was required to have interlock in her vehicle. The complaint says she answered yes.<\/p>\n

She was then asked if the vehicle had interlock installed. The complaint says she answered no.<\/p>\n

Beaulieu reportedly said she worked for her boyfriend. She also said she sometimes drove his vehicle.<\/p>\n

Authorities told Beaulieu that interlock had to be installed, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

The charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 171.306<\/a>. The related license law is listed under Minnesota Statute 171.09<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The charge carries a maximum sentence of 364 days in jail. It also carries a possible $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

Case Remains Pending<\/h2>\n

The complaint lists the offense level as a gross misdemeanor. A summons was issued in the case.<\/p>\n

The charge is only an accusation at this stage. Beaulieu is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
