Bemidji<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Cass Lake woman is facing felony drug and DWI-related charges in Beltrami County District Court.<\/p>\n

Alia Rochelle Dorr, 41, is charged in court file 04-CR-26-804. The case was filed in Minnesota\u2019s 9th Judicial District.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the charges stem from an April 5, 2026, traffic stop in Bemidji. The stop happened near Paul Bunyan Drive Northwest.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, police stopped a black Cadillac after noticing a license plate issue. The complaint says the plate light appeared not to work.<\/p>\n

Charges Filed In Beltrami County<\/h2>\n

Dorr is charged with fifth-degree drug possession. That charge is listed as a felony under Minnesota Statute 152.025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She is also charged with second-degree DWI. That charge involves operating a motor vehicle with a Schedule I or II drug in the body.<\/p>\n

The DWI count is listed under Minnesota Statute 169A.20<\/a> and Minnesota Statute 169A.25<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Complaint Details Traffic Stop<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Dorr was identified using a tribal ID. Police reported signs they believed showed possible impairment.<\/p>\n

The complaint states Dorr admitted recently smoking marijuana. She also allegedly admitted taking gabapentin pills without a prescription.<\/p>\n

Police said Dorr reported getting the pills \u201cfrom the street,\u201d according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Officers conducted field sobriety tests. The complaint says Dorr showed balance issues and had trouble following directions.<\/p>\n

Dorr was then placed under arrest, according to court documents.<\/p>\n

Search Reported After Arrest<\/h2>\n

Police searched the vehicle after the arrest. The complaint says a young child was inside the vehicle near a pink bag.<\/p>\n

Inside the bag, police reported finding Dorr\u2019s ID and other cards. Officers also reported finding gabapentin pills and suspected methamphetamine.<\/p>\n

The suspected methamphetamine weighed about .93 grams and 2.43 grams with packaging. Those weights came from a non-certified scale.<\/p>\n

A search warrant was obtained for a blood or urine sample. The complaint says Dorr chose to provide a blood sample.<\/p>\n

The sample and suspected methamphetamine were expected to be sent to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension<\/a> for testing.<\/p>\n

Court records also list prior convictions for marijuana in a motor vehicle and DWI. The latest charges are only accusations.<\/p>\n
