Thief River Falls <\/strong>(trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Robben Lynn \u201cChief\u201d Rux of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
\nHe was 68.<\/p>\n

The family says a celebration of life service is being planned for the spring.
\nMore details are expected at a later date.<\/p>\n

Life and Background<\/h2>\n

Robben Lynn \u201cChief\u201d Rux was born October 15, 1957, in Thief River Falls.
\nHe grew up in St. Hilaire with his parents, Elaine and Wayne Kruse.
\nHe also grew up with siblings Randy, Rick, Ranae, Penny, and Jon.<\/p>\n

He graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.
\nFamily members say he was known for working hard.
\nThey say he took pride in providing for others.<\/p>\n

Work History<\/h2>\n

Over the years, Rux held several jobs in the area.
\nHe worked at Cenex on 8th Street.
\nHe also delivered propane and anhydrous through St. Hilaire Supply.<\/p>\n

He drove for Northland Taxi in Thief River Falls.
\nHe later served as a supervisor at 7 Clans Casino.
\nHe also worked in the automotive department at Walmart.<\/p>\n

He later retired due to health complications.<\/p>\n

Survivors and Preceded in Death<\/h2>\n

Rux is survived by his son, Robby (Alana) Rux of Thief River Falls.
\nHe is also survived by grandchildren Christopher Rux, Keagan Rux, and Marek Rux.<\/p>\n

He is survived by his father, Wayne Kruse.
\nHe is also survived by siblings Rick (Stephanie), Rob, Penny (Jimmy), and Jon.
\nThe family also lists many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.<\/p>\n

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy.
\nHe was also preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Kruse.
\nHe was preceded in death by siblings Randy and Ranae.
\nHe was also preceded in death by his aunt, Eunice Rolandson.<\/p>\n
